    Badesi is a small village on the borders of the Anglona and Gallura area. It is a comune in the province of Olbia-Tempio with 2000 permanent inhabitants. Badesi has an amazing view on the Gulf of Asinara as well as long sandy beaches situated between the rocky coasts of Isola Rossa and Castelsardo. Badesi thanks to its central location is and ideal place for those who wants to explore the Gallura. Badesi is just an hour by car from Olbia or Alghero and half hour from Sassari and Porto Torres.

 

    Badesi has a small center with unique historical atmosphere. There is parish church of Badesi in the centre of the village. It was built at the beginning of the twentieth century Badesi offers all the usual urban services, like the supermarket, the gas tank, ATMS cash services, pharmacy and a bus stations. There are also a few bars, restaurants and touristic shops offering a range of handicrafts, jewellery and souvenirs. Badesi is a favourite zone of tourists to do trekking and mountain biking.

 

    Also Badesi organizes many festivals and events reflected during the summer. Many of the festivals and carnevals have been ongoing for centuries and says a lot about the Sardinian people and their traditions. During the May is heald an international competition for river fishing in Badesi. Between 3rd and 5th June is heald The Patron Saint's festival. You have unique chance to see the mangnificient sardinian costumes and traditional handicrafts, and also taste all local homemade products and sardinian dishes typical for Gallura. The most famous summer Badesi carneval is every year on the night of 13th August.

   The village is divided between Badesi village located on the hills and the Badesi Mare, directly by the see.  Badesi are the best beaches in north Sardinia to explore by foot, you can enjoy a romantic stroll along the coast. So much space means that the beaches rarely seem crowded or noisy You can just relax and sound of the sea - especially at the beaches Baia delle Mimose or beach Poltu Biancu where you can bring also your dog. The north windy coast of Badesi is the best place for who likes doing water sports, such as windsurf, surf and the kite surf. The beach is crossed by River Coghinas, one of the most important rivers in Sardinia.

     There are two the most popular beaches called "Li Junchi" and "Li Mindi". The beaches are famous for sand dunes and richness of flora and particular fauna. All the beach is 12 kilometers long and the whole of the coastline stretches from Castelsardo to the Isola Rossa. It is an ideal place for lovers of romantic sunset walks. During the eveving you will meet at the beach many people waiting for amazing sunset.
